Back to Basics

In the midst of all the chaos, it can be easy to forget the good things about ourselves, others, and the world. It can be easy to forget what makes us happy and who is really there for us. Even though it may be hard, identifying the good is necessary to keep pushing forward.


While the picture activity below may seem elementary, it is a simple depiction of how we can start to identify the good in our lives despite the chaos. If you feel so inclined and in your own way and time, grab a piece of paper and draw a flower. Write things down that are beautiful about you in the petals and leaves. Draw the roots and name people whom are your support system. Draw rain drops and write the things that lift you up and make you happy for those things can help you grow.
